Golden Bay Hotel

All the best for yourself accommodation, the location, the people who work here. Simply a great choice. I even forgot something in the room, and they were so kind to keep it all and send it back to me by post. Thank you for that!

We spent two weeks at the Golden Bay Hotel in 2015, we enjoyed it so much that we tried to book it again for 2016 unfortunately they could not accommodate us for the two weeks we required so we were only able to spend our last six days on Naxos with them. This is a well-run family hotel the rooms are clean and bright with sheets and towels been replaced on a regular basis. It is really good value for money. Anna Maria and her parents run the hotel they are very friendly and hospitable making sure that everyone enjoys their stay as we did. Anna Maria and her mum operate a bakery on the ground floor of the hotel, this is well worth a visit as everything we had was really delicious and good value for money. The Golden Bay is conveniently positioned only a few minutes walk from the magnificent beach as well as lots of cafes and restaurants.

We had a weeks stay in late July 2016. The studios are large and fine - with top cleaning. This is a family hotel - and a very good service! The family also runs a pastry shop on the ground floor. Here you find Homemade cookies, desserts and various snacks. Proper coffee machine - and a coffee which is very good!! Often handed out samples to customers on all the good stuff that they make. nHere we had our daily lunch - absolutely wonderful! nThis bakery/cafe - and studio/hotel we would visit again. nHighly recommended!

I had a lovely time at this hotel. It is in the main street in Agios Prokopios close to bars, cafes, shops and restaurant and a few meters from the beach. The room was comfortable and nice. The owner was a lovely person, very helpful, friendly and very service minded. I was feeling warm and nice welcome when I arrived, and the whole team/family did it to a great vacation and a great time at Naxos. The family also run a the bakery Glikofournismata next door to the hotel, where you got a lovely breakfast. nI will highly recommend this hotel for all. nThank you very much for an excellent time at your hotel, I will come back.

I had a lovely time at this hotel. It is in the main street in Agios Prokopios close to bars, cafes, shops and restaurant and a few metres from the beach. The room was comfortable and spaceous with a well equipped kitchenette, a dining table and a sofa. The owner was a lovely person - very helpful and friendly. The family also run a bakery next door to the hotel, where you can get a lovely breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

There is very friendly and helpful staff, we felt like in a family. Our rooms were clean, large and cozy. The beach, markets, restaurants, bus station and etc are very close. Theres also a great pastry shop! Be sure to try citrus and milk cakes. Ambrosia! Thanks for a delightful holidays. Amazing value for money

A small family business with great service. The room was very big and clean. They change all towels every day and was a small kitchen with full equipment inside the room. Anna Maria , the owner, was very kind and friendly and she owns a small bakery inside the hotel where you can taste her hand made pies and other baker. the price was really low for this hotel and season. Great value for money.

The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were super spacious and clean. Location is perfect, 2 minutes from the beach and in the middle of the busiest street in Agios Prokopios (with all the restaurants, etc). Still, great sleep quality, couldnt here anything. The owner also have a bakery (with her mom) beside the hotel, to which she often invited us for free goodies, very sweet. Were super happy with the hotel 🙂

We have just spent two weeks at The Golden Bay Apartments and can highly recommend it for many reasons; Annamarie and her parents who own the complex could not have done more to make us feel at home. The apartment was great value for money and was kept spotlessly clean with the sheets as well as towels being changed regularly. Although we did not have a sea view it was compensated by being very quiet and cool at night. The owners run a bakery/café on the ground floor where we had delicious home made pies, sandwiches, cakes and cookies as well as a variety of drinks. Only a two minute walk away is The Golden Bay beach that was recently voted the second best in Europe and it’s easy to see why. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance offering great value for money; our favourite being the one diagonally across the road run by Nicholas and his family. There is lots to do on this delightful island that is very family friendly.

A very nice place close to the beach of Agios Prokopios! The people are very welcome and kind. The room was clean and with fresh towels every day. Its in the Main Street of Agios Prokopios with a pharmacy and a supermarket just a few feet away. I totally recommend it to people who come in Naxos and dont forget to try the pies of the bakery of the family all handmade and delicious from mama Vasiliki.

I m from athens and i can tell that from many islands and hotels i visited this is the best.very kind hotel service,too helpfull,everyday cleaning,the hotel is quite and easy to stay and many more.oh and they serve nice breakfast

We had a wonderful time at Golden Bay Hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean, the service was excellent, the friendly stuff always greeted us with a smile in their face and attended to all our needs. I recommend this beautiful place to anyone who is interested in visiting beautiful Naxos and wants to stay in an affordable place.
